After a lot of hard work in college and elsewhere, I finally broke in to the games industry. I've had a short summer
internship at the Maxis office of Electronic Arts, and have since gone on to become a full-time software engineer at
ImaginEngine, an office of Foundation 9 Entertainment / Backbone Entertainment.
Foundation 9 Entertainment / Backbone Entertainment / ImaginEngine

I currently work as a Programmer Extraordinaire at a company that seems to have a naming complex. At our Boston office, you can call us Foundation 9 or Backbone or ImaginEngine, but the fact of the matter is that we make great software titles for kids and adults. My list of published titles at ImaginEngine includes Tetris Elements, Fairly Oddparents: Shadow Showdown and Care Bears: Let's Have a Ball. Right now, I'm working on three titles simultaneously--Disney Preschool Time Online, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and another product that has yet to be announced. Working at ImaginEngine has been demanding, but also extremely rewarding.
Maxis/Electronic Arts

In the summer of 2003, I worked as an engineering intern at Maxis in the
San Francisco Bay area. My major task was to develop performance
testing tools for The Sims 2, but also got to develop some in-game code for the cheat
window and parser. Cheers to Maxis/EA for investing the time and resources
to offer such an excellent internship program. My experience at EA is further documented in
The Sims 2 section of my website, so be sure to check it out!
